Access control for an Edinburgh wooden front door

A nice little access control job here, which allows the client, and anyone else they want, access both via WiFi bridge/home assistant app, and locally with a fob, card or numerical code.

Once the instruction sticker is removed from the number pad, it looks even better!

On the inside is a high security British Standard tested high security nightlatch upgrade – no point having a £200 high spec keypad if there’s a 45 year old low security bit of hardware behind it!

I also filled the void, behind those handles, in the door with a new British Standard lever mortice lock, ensuring the highest level of keyed security can be attained if required on this wooden door, should there be an issue with the electronics.

I promise it’ll look great once it’s all painted and polished! But I can only vouch for the security, and the fact that there won’t be any more lost key problems.
