In the previous post I talked about technology making life easier. However, I do most of my blogging whilst out and about, via my Blackberry. And Blackberry have just recovered from a three day outage, where for the first 24 hours even the web was inaccessible, and after that things were rather intermittent.

Being a locksmith means that a lot the time, you are up against technology trying to keep you out (as designed), but also quite frequently, technology that has failed somehow. Doors and safes fail open or fail closed, and both can require a lot of skill to sort out.
Call a professional organisation like us if it happens to you, but also think about giving us a call if you haven’t had your safe serviced in the last few years, or if your key is getting rather hard to turn – it is a lot cheaper and easier to fix things during daylight with a working key than at midnight in the rain after a key has snapped!
