Back on the road, in the correct van

Took delivery today of my van, crash repaired and freshly washed. Swapping over and re-arranging all the various kits, tools and miscellany took about an hour, as I’ve had a fairly strict sort-out of stock and tools.

The state of the back of the van is a thing of legend. Like a TARDIS, full of stuff, but using diesel rather than… um… whatever Dr Who fills up with. And, to that end (reducing fuel consumption, though time travel would be handy) things had to change. Better rational marking of toolboxes, better arranged toolboxes containing, er, toolboxes, and the liberation of many bits of locks, screws and left-overs from work long since done. Plus sorting various cardboard boxes that were full of whatever was required for a certain large (multi-day) job, now in the past, to speed things up on the various sites.

Major thanks to Nationwide Crash Repairs in Hereford, and Kindertons Accident Management, for getting things sorted so smoothly. No work was directly lost, except one large job that involved a trip to Scotland, so pretty good!
